Does my MoreTh>n insurance policy really offer a protected no-claims discount for life?
I have a maximum "No Claim Discount Protection for Life" with my MoreTh>n policy. But I have always been worried that, although I would not lose my no-claims discount following an accident, my premiums would rocket. However, in discussion with my Personal Customs Manager at MoreTh>n, whilst seeking a reduction in the 32 per cent increase in my annual premium, she assured me that it was not currently MoreTh>n's policy and that, if I were to have an accident, I would not lose my no-claims discount and my next annual premium would only increase in line with other policy holders. Of course only time or an accident will tell.

It may be true. It would mean that apart from that 32 per cent increase MoreTh>n was behaving impeccably, which would be unusual among insurers. Get it in writing and make it part of your contract.
