I'm very pleased with my new C-Max diesel, which drives superbly.
I have recently changed to a new C-Max 5-seat 1.6 diesel. This is my first diesel and I am grateful for several tips via your column, particularly the recent one about letting out the clutch at idle revs in traffic, which is a habit I was developing. Needless to say I now add a few revs. For your information the car drives superbly, the front cabin space in particular is very good, my first two tanks have returned 45 and 46 mpg around town and a 200 mile round trip at 70 mph gave 50mpg. After owning two Zafiras and a Mazda 5 I think this C-Max is superior. Time will tell if the diesel was the right decision.
