Poor power and judder when changing gear
I brought a Vauxhall Corsa on friday for my wife. Its a 2010 vauxhall Corsa 1.0 EcoFlex 3 cylinder. When she changes gear (or me) it judders and sometimes lack power. Went back to the dealer on wednesday. no fault found on the reader. Service manager says that its because its a 3 cylinder and that with new technology like electronic throttle etc there will always be some hesitation. I feel that the car should be able to accelerate through the gears like any normal car, all be it not as fast being a small engine. It feels so bad when driving its like riding a kangaroo at times. Am I right or should I put up with it. When he drove the car with me in it, he drove it like a learner driver would and said that is how it shoudl be driven. Hardly any revs before changing gear so it is bound not to judder when driven like that. I drove it changing gear between 3-4 thousand revs and it just bounces before it picks up and goes. At times, when I change down gear from 3rd to 2nd, I then throttle up and it hesitates before picking up. Again, is it me or should i be concerned. The Vauxhall dealership were not very helpful. Please help!

The problem appears to be the way you are attempting to drive the car.
