Inexpensive 4WD saloon

I would like to buy a saloon car which is automatic and has the option to engage 4 wheel drive mode for bad weather. I am looking at mid range price.

There isn't anything. You have to go to a Subaru Legacy or an Audi A4 quattro and you will be looking at £25k +.
