I have been offered a demonstrator Honda Jazz EX I-Shift at an attractive part exchange price. It will be available on 1st November. However, I have since heard that this model is about to be replaced by an updated and improved model. The salesman says that he can only supply a new Jazz until December, making no suggestion that a new model is due. I would be obliged if you could give me any information you may have about an impending changes.

What is new is a shift of Jazz production for Europe to Swindon from 7th October, 2009. I drove a pilot production Swindon Jazz on 30th September, and also discovered that Honda is building 1.3 and 1.5 litre RHD versions with 5-speed torque converter automatic
transmissions for the South African market. So it is feasible that these could be Type Approved for the UK. As far as I know, Guangzou in China continues to build the old model Jazz.
