Trader price
I am considering buying a vehicle that has been advertised on the eBay website - not via an auction, but a "classified advertisement" alongside a price. The seller is a trader. Am I covered by the standard trading terms and conditions, or does it fall under the eBay rules of no warranty or comeback? The vehicle is also offered for sale on the motor trader’s own website - he doesn't have showroom - only a ‘virtual showroom’ on the website. Any advice greatly received.

If you buy from a trader you have full consumer protection. He cannot hide from it by the method he uses to advertise. But if you buy on auction terms, that is different. You buy on the terms of the auction.
