Economy of scale

In response to RG of Petworth you state that the XF "is relatively economical". My 2.7 diesel XF is just two years old and on my last trip to St Andrews, Fife it returned 52mpg at an average 61mph. I reckon that's better than "relatively economical". I can endorse your recommendation to buy one.

That's astonishing. Clearly, you have a very sensitive right foot. (I thought I did surprisingly well to average 28mpg over 700 miles in the 500bhp XFR.)
