Order in the house

I have ordered a new car from a franchised dealer, only to find his quotas have been exceeded for the next few months. Am I entitled to my deposit back so I can find a dealer who can process my order? He has a deposit of £1,225 and has been very liberal with telling the truth and will not respond to phone calls or emails

If he can't actually take your order (because he has exceeded his quota), he is not entitled to take your deposit, there is no contract, so you can legally compel him to return your deposit. If he kicks up, get a solicitor straight onto it. (T.M. cancelled his order and got the refund with no further fuss.)
