    I have a 318 with the new fuel efficient valvetronic engine. Does anyone with a similar car check their fuel consumption figures? I'm getting 43mpg on the motorway, and 33mpg on A roads. This seems less than BMW's own figures. Is this normal? Also, does it make any difference using Super Unleaded

    Hi guys i have a problem with my speedo sometimes working and sometimes not. When it desides to work my fuel light comes on and fuel gauge drops to almost on the empty line, when speedo stops again light goes off and gauge goes back to normal. Any help here guys. Thanks.

    I have a 2001 115 pd golf. Recently had a new change over valve fitted under warranty. fuel consumption has gone up by 15% on like for like journeys dealer says the car is set up properly now. would this valve have starved fuel so much when not operating properly prior to new fit? Sharpsyerman
