Had this car since new (March 2002) and at 4 years old ( March 2006) dealer advised that main oil seal was leaking which meant gearbox out to change seal. The car was out of warranty but had been dealer serviced since new. Porsche agreed to cover 100% of the part cost and 90% of the labour cost -

The end of rust? 4 Sep 2006 (Forum)
of rot around the rear arches on old Mondeos or Vectras but that can be prevented by careful removal of crud when washing the car. Makes you think that if you look after the bodywork and service them regularly you can easily see 20+ years in a modern car. Probably an ECU or electrical fault too expensive -

Hi, Our second car is an old Nubira -- one thing that irritates me about this car is that the washer jets come on fractionally *after* the wipers start to move, and about a second or two after I've pulled the stalk toward me. Is this a fault, or a feature? -

When I was little (early 70s) my father had a reg plate that for no particular reason became quite special to us as a family and he transferred into another car. It seems not to be registered to any car now so I assume it is now defunct. Is there anyway of getting the DVLA to resurrect -
