  avin probs with my 806 it starts fine and runs for a while then engine starts to hunt a bit and becums more smokey then it runs like this, when i rev it, it smokes more just had head gasket and timing belt done thw smoke is white i dun the work myself check everything still cant find out whats

  i have a citroen synergie h,d,i and i changed the fuel filter today when put back on the car runs fine but when switched off it runs on for about 6 seconds and the fault light on the dash is on i have had a code reader on and its coming back as po230 but was fine until i changed the filter thx

  I've gone mad and changed my 1.6 touran for a 1.9TDI. Whats the best way to run it in to prevent it using lots of expensive oil in the future? I've read HJ's recommendations, but is there anything else to consider? Do I use gentle accelaration for the first few hundred miles or just keep the revs

  I have noticed before, and was reminded today, that breakdown/windscreen replacement/mobile tyre fitters keep the engines of their vans running whilst they carry out the rescue or repair. Why? Today, a neighbour had Autoglass round to replace a windscreen. Job took perhaps 25 minutes. He left

  when it is stood the engine runs fine but when i put my foot on the accelorator pedal it starts to hunt.when i drive it through the gears and keep power on drives fine,util i take the power of and it starts to jump.

  . 4 months on and they still dont know what is wrong. it starts and runs fine for about 2 mins but then runs lumpy and rough and will not rev past 2000rpm and kicks out a hell of alot of smoke as a result. if it is switched off and restarted straight away it will run fine again for a few mins

  Idrive a v12 xj-s, converted to lpg, and have done ten thousand miles in the last year, with no problems.pro-rata it's cheaper to run and much more enjoyable than my sensible sorento.am I alone with this approach?
