Glare & Sun Visors 9 Dec 2003 (Forum)
of cateracts in the 'Let There Be Light' thread. I find driving much more relaxing if I keep the sun visors down day and night. I began doing this when I drove in Zambia, where the sunlight is much brighter. Sometimes passengers automatically put the visor back up because they can?t see the sky. I tell them -
Toyota Yaris or Nissan Micra 10 Nov 2003 (Forum)
Can anyone give some advice on the following. The Yaris seems to get the best reviews for small Automatic car, but at near £10K for the 3 dr 1.3 T Spirit, this is very steep. The new Nissan Micra 3dr 1.2S auto seems to have all the kit and can be purchased for £7660. Air con and alloys don't -
Which car for my parents? 18 Sep 2003 (Forum)
prefer to drive diesel (and it would suit their journey profile) and they would benefit from an automatic. They won't contemplate any kind of adventurous choice, so there's no point suggesting it. This is their second VW, they've had Volvos previously, so you get the picture. By my reckoning, they'll -
Trooper Front Hub 6 Jul 2003 (Forum)
Hi Folks, Has anyone done a 3.1 Trooper front brake disc change? I can't seem to get past the automatic diff lock assembly which, I surmise, hides a large nut which keeps the hub on the half-shaft splines. Or does it? Do I need a truck-size puller? The workshop manual for this vehicle costs -

Calculating top gear performance? 28 May 2002 (Forum)

Best Back Seats 21 Aug 2001 (Forum)
I was interested by Chris Watson?s comment in the Budget Automatic thread: ?i have never liked mondeo's as the ride in the back feels rather rough, and you can feel vibrations through your back, plus not alot of legroom, but i am 6'6".? I think it?s an often overlooked point that if you -
Radar Trap 11 Jul 2001 (Forum)
a couple of Harriers doing a low-level slow navigation exercise in that area. Their defensive radar told them that they had been "painted" by radar which automatically set up a sequence to target an anti-radar missile at the source. Thank your lucky stars that when the system asked the pilot for the OK -

My wife and l like automatic petrol engined cars in a roomy MPV bodystyle, not SUV. Over the yaers, we have got used to Japanese cars with approx 2 litre engines, but to get one now you have to either 'buy old' or 'buy import'. Today we tried this 2016 Zafira. It was quite pleasant but I
