Luxury, quality and excellent driving pleasure in a beuatiful car at bargain price!

I've had my S60 for a month now and been incredibly impressed with it. I bought an eleven month old S60 SE Premium D3 from my local main dealer for less than £18k private purchase, having test driven all the main rivals from Audi A4 to VW Passat and the new Peugeot 508 the S60 was streets ahead on quality looks and driving pleasure.
The D3 engine (not the newer stop start version so road tax is £115) is a peach, it has a lovely growl and genuine grunt to. I am averaging 850 miles from a full tank, about 70 ltrs, which averages at over 50 mpg, although the on-board computer says average mileage is only 43 mpg? This is over a good mixture of A, B and motorway driving at decent speeds so not bad by my reckoning.
Premium pack adds leather, and excellent voice activated sat nav, sunroof and blue tooth to an already good SE spec.
Volvo interiors have always been good but the S60 is really "classy", ergonomics are great and the quality is excellent, the steering wheel is chunky and won particular praise from my 25 year old petrol head son! Rear seat space is very good and much better than my previous S60.
I only have two small criticisms, the first is the boot is small by modern standards for a car of this size (380 ltrs), it is a good shape though and has a flip up divider for shopping. The car doesn't have a left foot rest which makes the drivers footwell cluttered and you have to rest your left foot under the clutch peddle. Those of you with larger feet may find this uncomfortable, but I have soon got used to it and I wear size 10 shoes.
Overall an excellent top quality good looking car which drives well, is comfortable with excellent seats and interior ergonomics. Recommended!
