My perfect car

Eye catching with the roof down, totally waterproof roof, fantastic heating and sound systems.Toasty warm with the top down at 2-3 degrees.
Liittle boys (and girls) think it is a transformer when the roof is folding into the capacious boot. Even with the roof down there is plenty of luggage space.
It is extremely comfortable, electronic seat adjustment and memories on both front seats; hardly any buffetting with a wind deflector and the full sports car experience with all of the side windows and deflector down. Great fun.
Goes as well as the car I had before (Mini Cooper), the D3 engine is perfectly adequate for me, it accelerates well for overtaking - up to 80 before you know it and would happily keep going but with the national speed limit being 70 on motorways, cruise control keeps me out of too much trouble.Fuel consumption is around 39mpg on short journeys and up to 46mpg on longer runs. Handling is good for a larger car but mine is an automatic and it took a while to adjust to braking before bends instead of using the gears. You can change to the manual option (it is an up and down change, not a gate) whilst going along but the automatic change is so smooth and efficient I never use it.
It's not the most practical car for moving furniture (but it does have a flap between the boot and cabin for skis).
I will keep it until either it or I die, I really love it.
