We loved it

My VW Touran served very well indeed.
I kept this car from new back in September 2007 and am about to replace it.
It reached 83,000Miles yesterday. I drive 18,000 Miles per year. (75%Motorway, 25% Urban)

Good:
Fuel economy ; Average 55MPG.
Long lasting tyre ; a set of tyre lasted 38,000 Miles
Very reliable car ; maybe I was lucky one ?
Very little to maintain ; it still got original factory fitted front/rear brake pad/disc.
This car returned to the garage only 4 times for service.
Mass of space for a family of 4
Good handling for MPV

Bad:
No rear speaker, this is a joke for the car costing more than £16k. Pathetic….
I retrofitted the rear speaker by myself.

That’s it really. I can’t recall any other bad points.

I wish if I could bought another one but I’ve been priced out by VW.
VW cars are far too expensive to own for normal average family.
My next car is Skoda Octavia.
