1.5 TSI Evo 150ps SEL 5dr SUV

Good but not that good

This is a sweet car to drive once the initial start up from cold has been conquered. It has been back to two different dealers with a request that they solve the problem as to why the engine stutters then misses a beat when moving off in first gear. I have been advised that no fault has shown up whilst hooked up to a computer but that has not given me peace of mind.
I have been driving for some 59 years and have owned some 20 odd cars of all shapes and sizes,
and having forked out some 25k for this vehicle I feel qualified to know when something is not quite right So far I would hesitate before recommending this vehicle



Update. This car has been returned to the dealer for a refund as VW has admitted there to be a fault with the engine

Let the buyer beware of buying this car with a 1.5 TSI Evo engine.
