The definitive convertible for UK roads
After 3 years driving an MX-5 2.0 MkIII at weekends, I realised that although it was good looking and reliable, it wasn't as good to drive as the hype would suggest. It was noisy, uncomfortable, thirsty and there's few opportunities to use its performance on UK overcrowded roads.
As an everyday car, my Golf V 1.6 Match was far superior, so when it came time to change buying a Golf VI Convertible was a no-brainer for me and I've not been disappointed with car to date.
Compared with the MX-5, the Golf is more comfortable, spacious, economical, quiet with far more standard options and generally better to drive.
