Bought in 2011 with 23,000 for £5k. Car has failed just once. Mobile security camera blocked signal to speed sensors on wheels. Soon as car was parked it locked itself in neutral. Nice AA sorted it. Two days later did 800 miles in wk in Cornwall. Car now 10 yrs old & still on original exhaust system. Get 40 mpg using dual carriageway to work. On holiday a Roof box, 3 persons luggage & 2 mountain bikes it does around 43. I’m 6ft 4 and fit into it easily. Not exciting to drive but what people carrier is!
Cars done everything asked of it. Keep looking to replace it but just passed its mot again. (Broken coil spring & exhaust bracket) both on car from new??
Its even acquired the name Merv.
