Toyota Yaris (2020 on)

Flys up hills, sips petrol, great safety features, a bit tinny
I went for the Design version to get the smaller wheels and the rather basic interior came with the territory. The car is easier to get into than my old Auris but nowhere near as comfortable. The car is swift and flies up hills and is good on the narrow rural roads around here. I would not like to do a long journey as I find the seats firm with little side support.
The car sips petrol returning nearly 80mpg over the 1000 miles we have done since new. The safety features are one of the main reason I bought the car and are one of its best features.
I do not like the cascade of water from the roof onto the front windscreen, the rather pokey storage space, doors which feel tinny and need to be very firmly closed.
My wife who is some inches shorter likes the car more than myself.
For economy, safety and Toyota reliability a good but expensive buy.
