Atrocious Security
The Can Bus attack makes this car unsecure and uninsurable. I have had the car stolen twice in just over two years. I had a steering wheel lock on and that was removed, as it is so easy to open the car doors.
Toyota Customer service do not care about their customers as soon as they have sold the vehicle.
For any customers considering a Toyota, do not buy! Just do a quick google search on the most stolen vehicles. It is Lexus at 1, Rav4 at 5. The 2,3, 4 vehicles are Range Rovers. I would say the Rav4 will be in the top 3 very very soon.
I would not recommend a new Toyota car. The insurance premiums are extremely high now that the Can bus attack is widely known.
