Simply astounding

This was our second LC, having owned an '08 LC120 previously. One of the very best vehicles I have ever owned. Totally reliable apart form failure of one of the batteries which Toyota replaced under warranty. Only ever needed routine servicing (never more than £300 at Toyota) and consumables. Comfortable, quiet, roomy, would haul most anything easily. Would cruise all day at 80/90 on M-way with no issues. Lovely leather, heated seats and well-appointed, solid interior; don't know where HJ's gets his road testers from but the one who reviewed the LC was clearly on some substance or other.
As for it costing £50k, you are getting the best built SUV that money can buy that will go anywhere and more importantly, bring you back again. Unlike a LR or RR which can cost up to twice as much and spend more time back at the dealer than on the road.
