Overall reliability
Quick, economical, smooth to drive
I drive a Corolla 23 spec so it has the upgraded battery etc
Current MPG over 1200 miles 64.7.
Mixed driving Town, Dual Carriageway, Motorway etc
That’s not driving like a cissie BTW.
It’s lively enough if you want speed/performance etc
My old utterly reliable 10 year Petrol Automatic Avensis with 174k on the clock managed 38 MPG so this is a big improvement. My wallet loves it.
Let’s hope the Corolla is as reliable as the Avensis.
The on-board hybrid battery slips in and out of use even on very short journeys. Clever stuff.
It’s not battery for 15 miles then petrol. The only range limitation is how much petrol is in the the tank.
My current full tank range is 545 miles.
So far so good my Corolla Hybrid gets the thumbs up.
