Toyota Corolla (2019 on)
2.0 Design Estate
A different driving experience, but not fault free
Generally this is a very good car but, having had the car for only three months now, one of the electric windows has stopped operating. I'm hoping that this will be fixed under the manufacturer's claimed 5 year warranty.
My average fuel consumption is working out at around 49 mpg, not bad but far from the 70 mpg I heard originally, and I don't drive it aggressively.
Are all Toyota dealers arrogant? These points rankle with me:
I couldn't get any discount from the dealer's stated price, nor did I get much for my trade-in.
On the day I collected it they still hadn't corrected a stone chip scratch to a door which I pointed out on the day I took the test drive. They simply put some touch up paint on it and, although they said I could have the touch up tin / tube, they didn't include it.
Also on the day I collected it one of the tyres showed to be under-inflated. This was fixed immediately, but it made me wonder what passes for pre-delivery inspection.
