Perfect family cruiser
This is the best car I've ever owned, by far. Bought at retirement, I couldn't have made a better choice.
It's powerful, has a very comfortable ride and a nice quality interior, relaxed handling but still good when you're pushing on, and has masses of space... in short, nothing at all to irritate.
It's generally quiet, although there's a bit of road noise over rough tarmac (better with Michelin CrossClimates fitted),
Mpg averages mid-high 40's, with over 50 on a long gentle run.
Had a couple of faults, both fixed under warranty: a faulty glowplug, and an air conditioning problem (found to be a leak).
This is my second Superb III, the first one having been written off while parked, and I'd have no hesitation getting another one.
