Lots of reliability issues with the Skoda Octavia

We bought the car in April 2021 in a Skoda garage. We were looking forward to it being a reliable car but it has been far from that. the car has been be plagued by sensor errors since we bought it. It has been in the garage for 4 to 5 weeks and while a replacement car was provided, we have lost a lot of confidence in driving it. I have more confidence in my 15 year old Toyota than i do in the Skoda.

The sensors are still giving trouble and only today the reversing camera failed (again). The brake discs warped at 26k km and Skoda say it must be how we are driving the car. How daft is that , we are not young racers , just family people. who never trash our cars. I am considering going to the consumer protection organisation as we have the car 1 year since new and my patience is worn away.

Sure its economical and a nice car to drive but the constant problems and reliability issues have tipped the scales into negative territory.

Its a pity as this is our first Skoda and likely to be our last Skoda as well.
Too bad Skoda could not help address our issues as I have written to them setting out the issues.
