Loss of power and stalling and emergency brake faults

We bought our 1.5 petrol manual karoq in July 2019. Since then we have had problems with the car stalling setting off and at low speed changing into 2nd gear. On one occasion stalled in the middle of a busy roundabout which was terrifying.

Driving along a straight country lane with no traffic at 35mph the emergency brake brought the car to an immediate stop. Left my wife bruised and shaken.

Car was taken back to the main dealer who installed a software fix for the kangarooing/stalling/loss of power issue. They were unable to identify a fault with the auto braking feature.

The people at the dealership carrs skoda in Bridgewater were exceptional. Looked at the car within 24 hours and helped arrangements with hire cars. Very thorough and very helpful.

Phone calls to Skoda assistance were frustrating, they initially refused to help as my wife was able to drive the car home after the emergency brake fault.
