Overall reliability
Unreliable - wish I had never bought it
There are many reviews praising this car for its mpg, driving, handling and equipment compared to its sister, the VW Polo. All these are fair. However, these reviews are moot, if the car is not reliable.
First, the electronics. Incomprehensible fault warnings. One was genuine. Change a fuse, and create chaos.
Build design and quality. Very poor. Rear "self adjusting" drum brakes seize. Need to change wheel for a puncture? The alloy wheels are on a n internal axle rim that binds. Hammer and lever don't work. Apparently the solution is to jack up the car, remove wheel nuts then drop it!
Seat belts in back jam when folded forward. Apparently the mechanism is designed to do this when seat is flat.
