Brilliant

Fabulous motor. Other than two rear door lock problems has been totally reliable. still on original exhaust. Had around 4 brake light bulbs go in 53k we've owned car and that is pretty much it other than regular service items.
Serviced slightly before due times / dates. Currently at 65k, will be having cam belt change soon. Use local specialist.
Averages around 40mpg town. Recently got 51 mpg on week in Wales - and I do not hang about. Can drop as low as 33mpg in winter (wife's work is only 1 mile away so engine barely gets warm). Fuel consumption always checked on brim to brim basis. Cruises rock steady and effortlessly at 80 to 90. Torque at motorway speeds is so impressive, leaves many flashier motors behind, on twisty country roads engine always seems to be in right rev range for best torque.
One niggle - clutch has always been on heavy side, noticeable in heavy traffic. Thought often about remapping it but would probably kill myself if I did.
Always puts a smile on my face whenever I drive it.
