Skoda Enyaq (2021 on)
Lodge iV 80 82kWh Auto 5dr
excellant all round vehicle
we have been pleasantly surprised with our Enyaq, having bought it without test driving or actually seeing one as there were non available at the time.
easy to drive & very comfortable. Loads of space in the front and rear .The boot is a great size, perfect for a large dog, We bought a universal barrier to prevent the dog trying to climb into the rear seats.
The one offered from the Skoda dealership was very expensive and required fitting. This one just clamps onto the headrest posts and easily removable.
We generally charge from home using a rolec 7kw charger, around 9 hours for 10-100% charge, which is great for utilising the cheap rate electricity at night.
The touch screen controller & sat nav are great and simple to use - lots of info and functions on there that we havent or probably wont use.
Dont like the auto lane adjustment facility as the car can feel out of your control when it automatically pulls you back in lane, especially when moving out to avoid potholes or go round obstructions or cyclists. This can be turned off in the menu- but not permanently, you have to do it every time you 'start' the vehicle.
had an issue with charging at home to start with- didnt have any issues when I had the i-pace, so assumed it was the cable - -Skoda dealer advised there wasnt anything wrong with the cable or car- But it has worked fine since ???.
The only complaint i have at this moment is that i used to have a range of over 330 miles when new, but the charging rage has gradually gone down on charges, - its now showing 246 miles on a full charge- Skoda dealer checked the vehicle out - couldnt find any problems - On the report, Tech skoda advised that the range will alter as the car learns usage patterns !!
I will be scrutinising this to see if I actually get the stated mileage from the way we drive - If I get around 250 miles on a full charge when driving on motorways at 70/80 mph then I will be happy..
