Good car to drive but dealer service more take it or leave it

I purchased this ex-demonstrator in early June, it has 17 inch low profile tyres which seemed ok at the time plus numerous extras, which are mostly not used. It handled a round trip of some 1500 miles with ease and was comfortable even with 4 adults one child and luggage. Rear passengers have plenty of legroom and the boot easily carried our luggage. The economy was as expected but the integral navigation system used takes some getting used to, as it announced lane/direction changes far too early.

Handling was excellent apart but the nervousness caused, I suspect, in part from the low profile tyres.

My major concern in the back light clusters, there are split between the outside panel and the rear door. The outside panel light unit had to be replaced after driving through a cloudburst on the M6, it filled with water and started disintegrating. The nearside rear door unit started cracking after leaving it out in the sun one really hot afternoon, with the nearside rear (panel) light cluster now having condensation thus will also need replacing in the next few weeks. Needless to say both the dealership and Seat are stating the water ingress and breakages are my fault and not a manufacturing issue, at approximately £155 a time this is becoming a very expensive purchase.
