Overall reliability

I said I'd buy another - and I did.

In my review of a 2013 Leon I said, "Would I buy another? - yes without hesitation". So after 3 years of totally satisfactory motoring (52.2 mpg over about 30k miles) I part exchanged it for another.

Not too excited about slightly larger wheels and the dark glass in the back did nothing for me until I saw how well it hid the stuff on the back seat from others.

VW have squeezed another 5 PS out of the engine and this has changed it's character, I'd rather have the old "softer" motor and for this driver there was plenty of power before the small increase.

The map screen for in built satnav is better and otherwise the car is pretty mush the same as the previous one.

Economy is important to me and on a recent 150 mile trip on roads where speed could not be more that 55-60 mph it turned in 59 mpg but this is exceptional. In normal use I'm getting about 52 mpg and I really don't need any more speed and acceleration that this car gives.

Verdict - just as happy as I was with the last one.
