Overall reliability

Very reliable, hard ride but comfortable seats, dull interior but nice looking exterior

I have had no problems at all with this vehicle in 4 + years, it is surprisingly comfortable on the motorway considering the hard ride. It is very roomy with good access and a good shaped boot.
It has an excellent turning circle which is useful in town.
I like the tyre pressure warning system which gave me ample warning of a puncture on the motorway, also the anti skid electronics work.
these features seem to be missing from newer models being replaced by cruise control and electric mirrors, I'd rather have my spec with the safety features.
A minor niggle is that the Seat badges in the middle of the alloy wheels keep falling off, the local main dealer I bought the car from is not very good either, they tried very hard to charge me for a seatbelt clip that was missing when the car was delivered, but the car has never needed anything other than routine servicing.
