Excellent replacement for my 14 yr old owned from new Megane 2.0 RXE

Having been very happy with my Mk 1 Megane which was completely free from the mainly electrical problems reported with the Mk 2, I hung on to it until the Mk 3 version came out. This was a car I absolutely had to have! I bought a 'Renault To Go' vehicle, 10 months old, fairly priced (set by Renault themselves), via my local Renault Dealer who was happy to p/e the old one. Smooth and trouble-free process and the car arrived at the dealer within 3 days of placing the order, in lovely condition, fully checked and serviced and with all documentation, remainder of Manufacturer's Warranty, AA membership etc. not forgetting the SD Card for the Carminat TomTom SatNav.

Engine characteristics of the 1.6 VVT are different from the old F3R 8 valver which always pulled strongly at low revs and the new one has a 6 speed box. It's very lively and handles better then the earlier model with less body roll and more precise steering. The line of sight big screen SatNav is great, as are the 'toys' like the cruise control, speed limiter and hands-free card.

Early days yet, as I've only had it a couple of months, but no initial problems at all. Everything works as it should. It's a good looking car, plenty of space and very comfortable.
