Comfortable, versatile and economical in the Dci (86) version.
Bought as a sc***page replacement this car suits the two 65 year olds who drive it. V.E.D is £30 and insurance no more than the Fiesta it replaced. Driving in London suburbs and west Kent 60mpg is the norm. We thought it good enough that when our A170 gave up the ghost, we bought a second Modus on a 56 plate with a mere 138 miles on it from a main dealer at a very good price. This too has the same diesel engine but with a quickshift gearbox and this too gives 60 mpg.
