Comfortable, economical and good value for money
A lot of car for the money but no good as a getaway motor.
For the first thousand miles it drove like it was towing a block of flats but after that there was a great improvement.
The automatic gearbox takes a bit of getting used to but once you get used to the lurch when changing up and the need to use it like a manual on starting on a slope up it is simple.
Very economical ,especially the road tax for a car this size. So far very reliable ; the only fault being condensation in the rear light cluster which was fixed free of charge by the local garage.
Very useful carrying capacity with the back seats folded.
Comfortable on long journeys.
Overall a very satisfactory car without being outstanding in anyway. A thief proof car in that it has absolutely no street cred.
The worst thing about it is the arrangement of the spare wheel under the boot.
It is a bit of a pain to release from inside the boot but an absolute nightmare for one person to try to put it back.
It has to be pulled up from inside the boot on the end of a thin wire and to try to position it onto a threaded plastic screw arrangement which is out of sight while you are trying to lift the heavy wheel.
Ideally it needs two people , one of whom is prepared to lie or kneel on the ground to support the wheel while it is pulled into position.
