Great all rounder

Bought the car from a well known franchise garage north of the border.I have managed to travel to date over 6000 miles in this country and in europe. No problems at all.In europe the car is very comfortable over long distances. It handles really well, has adequate power and is very economical.67mph on constant long motorway trips at motorway speeds and 57mph on average over the above mileage. On Scottish road surfaces that are because of lack of repair like the old Eastern block roads used to be (yes I have driven on them) pot holed , rough and worn out the suspension can seems a little hard as are the seats.(I had a Jag.X type before.)
I think the reviews are spot on.Rain water can come into the boot when opened.I find if I hold it and slow it down when opening it helps.
The interior is a really nice place to be with a quality feel.Road noise and wind noise are kept to a minimum. The seats take a little getting used to but are no different from other modern cars and better than the German brands.
No car is perfect however the 508 is close.
