Peugeot 107 (2005 - 2014)
1.0 Urban 3dr Hatchback
Fun to drive but expect to get what you pay for!
Iv only owned this car a few months but its made a big impression. I used to own a Golf GTi and yes its no where near as fast but for what it is no one can complain, nippy round town and does not get lost on the motor way. It couldt be easier to park/turn around with its brill turning circle. Cheap to run and maintain, little tyres 155/65 start from around £25, £40 for full tank and will last the distance (as long as you do the right kind of driving, it can drink on long journies) For such a small motor the cabin space is 1st class, i can fit myself, my partner, a fully grown German Shepherd and a suitcase for the weekend inside. Handling suprised me very much, it does have a bit of roll but it is a rather tall car but as far cornering speeds go it has not being out run yet believe it or not! But one thing you have to keep in mind that this car was around 8k brand new so dont expect solid build quality and there is a bit of metal showing but if you keep the price in mind youll be suprise, CD player, AUX, AC, ect all round good motor for someone who is feeling the pinch! Not to mention the low servicing costs, with a chain driven engine there is no cam belt to worry about i have just completed a full service for £50. Also great in the snow!!
