Reliable, easy to drive with good mpg
I agonised for months between buying a Note- or spending a lot more money for the same age Honda Jazz. Eventually deciding on the Note as I had more experience of driving one and knew I was comfy with it. Also I don't like spending a lot on cars!
I can only say how pleased I have been with it. On a run of 100 miles- nearly all either motorway or dual carriageway, I can get 60 mpg if I keep the speed to between 55-60 mph- or if I want to do 60-70 mph, I can still get about 55 mph. On a mixed motorway/town driving I average around 45 mpg.
It is a dream to drive and I like the slightly higher position. Boot space is reasonable and I like the option of splitting the level so I can keep my waterproofs and boots separately from shopping or suitcase.
The only minor problem is other peoples perception of a Note driver. My much younger son borrowed it and noticed how other motorists overtook him much more frequently than when he drove his Mondeo - although he was driving the same.
