Nissan Note (2006 - 2013)
SVE 1.6 Petrol
Practical small car but plenty of space and performance
The Note is a great car for small families, inside plenty of room, so far, after a year of use it is economical around town and lively on longer runs very quiet engine seems to be better on fuel around town than on a long run, get average 40 plus MPG which is okay. boot space is very good got a washing machine (out of box) in the back..standing up!
You would think the shape and height it would roll on corners but it does not! handling is great all round its at home on the country lanes as on the motorway.
Small gripes : it is slightly narrow car and if you are big build then it can feel slightly cramped ie when changing gear you can knock the front passengers arm so you need to sit "apart" and be aware of it, also the seats are the same a bit narrow but the leg room is very good both front and back. On this model it has a six CD player BUT NOT FOR MP3 which is a downer, but then you can load with 6 cd's.so??? kids will like it with the tables that fold out complete with drinks holders, like in a plane! will take 3 kids but not 3 adults middle seat area a bit small.
One other gripe the tyre size is very limited for replacements and they are expensive
Also seems to be a bit high on insurance. Overall would recommend this car to anyone
