Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV (2014 - 2021)
2.0 3h Auto 5dr SUV
Great if you only do short trips
Hybrid mode and costs
It's costing around £2 per electric charge and I get approx 16 to 18 miles per full charge. I average about 38 mpg on a run using a full charge and petrol. If i go on a run with no charge then it can be as low as 30mpg.
If you calculate the total costs including charging costs you are similar to equivalent diesel option. It is no were near the figures quoted by the dealerships.
Room and comfort
The car is good for overall usable space. The main issue is the rear. The rear door opening is narrow and shallow. Large or bulky items could fit inside but it may not go through poor design.
Comfortable car to drive and travel in. Quick of the start and runs great at speed on motorway journeys.
Build quality
Use to be good build but now it feels very plasticy and tinny. Trimmings fall off and not good finish inside or out. Radio and sound system is inferior and poor sound.
Bluetooth system not easy to use.
I would not purchase another
