Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross (2018 - 2021)
1.5 cvt black
Easy car to live with and nice appearance...
Have owned the car for two years and apart from services have had no problems whatsoever.....I have the black model version which is I think a nice looking car...I find it comfortable and effortless to drive.....When driving around country lanes, passengers have positively commented on how balanced the car feels...That's from a passenger that suffers on occasions from car sickness......I don't agree with some reports about handling ..I think my car is better than most of the vehicles I have previously owned.....Lots of extras and the sliding rear seats are a great idea......The rear light bar I agree different takes getting used to.Maybe a good safety idea as it high up and very visible....I personally don't think it hampers your rear view...Whoever says this is just looking for something to be picky about..
The car feels powerful enough for most and the auto ,once familiar with it makes easy driving....Fair enough I did feel as if I was over revving when new to auto, but by lightning my heavy right foot I have found a sweet spot and the car glides...
Fuel is not great ,granted by todays standards..On a recent long run from Glasgow to London I got it up to 39mpg...Used cruise control at 70 and filled up with 5 octane petrol,-if that helps......We don't generally do long drives...Most driving is short journeys that's why we opted for a petrol car and mileage wasn't that important....We did previously have a Peugeot diesel car and it developed the obvious pdf exhaust problems...We also had 3 series BMW petrol-worst car we have ever owned....
To summarise-I have owned a lot of cars over 40 years...If you are looking for a nice looking reliable car with all- wheel drive ,with lots of extras and space enough for everyday family use(shopping, golf clubs, kids buggies etc) this is a the car you will ever need..I like it ,my wife loves the car too, so happy days....
