Mazda MX-5 Roadster Coupe (2006 - 2015)
1.8 Roadster Coupe 2013
Great fun and great value for money too
After over 40 years I've given up bikes and bought an MX5, I should have done this five years ago at least. I looked at all the options, make of car, model, level of trim, In the end I dropped lucky and picked up an ex demo base model 5 speed 1.8 with electric hard top, bargain! All I can say is I'm very very happy, it's never too cold or to hot in the little car (thanks to climate control). No day is so bad you can't enjoy a spin out somewhere, if it rains, the roofs up in a few seconds, sure beats getting wet yet again on a bike! And it corners like its on rails, Porches may go better, I wouldn't know, I don't want Porsche size bills thank you. People complain about the small size of the boot but let me tell you, its far more stowage space than any bike you'll ever own, and its together all in one place. Same for the cabin, compact, certainly, its like being submerged in the car, push your elbows down and you can shuffle around and get comfy, I love it. We're off to Germany in it in two weeks time for a little tour (destination, Rothenburg ob der Tauber) can't wait!
