Mazda MX-5 RF (2017 on)
Mx5 RF Sport -Nav
Look no further for a quality, fun roadster!
At first, I wasn't sure about an MX5 RF, but after driving one, I was hooked. This is a wonderful, fun car, yet very easy to live with on a daily basis. I have the Sport-Nav, which comes with heated leather seats, BOSE sound system, with speakers in the headrests of the seats. The car is fitted with lane departure warning, and sensors in the door mirrors which help overtaking as they detect how close other cars are as they approach from the rear. The best thing about this car is the way it drives and handles. The limited slip differential in this 2 litre version helps if you want to make some progress in winding 'A' and 'B' class roads, which is where this car comes into it's own. Yes, there may be some more expensive cars out there claiming to be 'roadsters', but for the price, value for money, coupled with Mazda reliability, you simply will not get a better drive for your money. While the 1.5 litre version may do just enough, the 2 litre gives as much performance as anyone would need in a car of this type. This makes you feel as though your are 'in' the car, as opposed to other cars which claim to be roadsters, where you feel you are sitting 'on' the car. Finally, yes, it may get a bit blustery with the top down, but who cares, wind in the hair motoring at its best!
