Drives and Handles well for an MPV

I purchased this car from new in 2009. The extra seats are a bonus, although they have only been used once. I wanted a vehicle that could carry four comfortably and have a large tall boot for my growing family. This Mazda 5 is perfect for that and it regularly is filled to the brim. It has now covered 23,000 fault free miles. Having had a Mazda6 beforehand, I new that my new car would still be fun to drive and extremely reliable. Whilst the ride on our pot hole ridden A and B roads can be firm, it does allow spirited driving on my cross country commute. The tyres are wearing well and will easily reach 28-30,000 miles before I need to change the front pair. The car is very comfortable to drive, and reasonable on fuel 35-38mpg depending on the journey. The engine is much smoother running on V-Power than normal unleaded. My one and only criticism is that it was hopeless in the snow we had last winter. This is mostly down to the low profile dunlop tyres fitted as standard. Overall, a very good vehicle with a good reliable petrol engine.
