The Mazda 3 X drive is better than my Honda Civic on long journeys for petrol consumption even though it is a2 litre as against the turbo 1 litre Honda. General motoring there is little to no difference in mpg. Overall it is a good car with little or nothing that could be improved.
The large diameter wheels and low profile tyres may look good but they are easy to damage. I would advise you take out some form of insurance to cover damage to tyres and alloys.
