Overall reliability
Excellent off-road and on road. Reliabilty issues after 5 years
Bought new in 2002 - Covered 150k miles in 12 years.
Split : 50% Highway 30% mountain tracks and roads 20% in city
No problems at all for 5 years until recall for air suspension which resulted in 7 visits to the dealer over a 3 month period.
As the car aged there were electrical problems and turbo problems
Reconditioned autobox after 140k miles
Engine : Reliable apart from turbo issues which were resolved
Over the 12 years spent around GBP11k on servicing and repairs
Others have had terrible problems but we were very happy - perfect vehicle for 5 people going to mountains - practical and , for the time, well finished inside. Exterior trim was a bit hit and miss - but mostly due to age
