Overall reliability

OK but has many imperfections that require urgent attention.

Revised review after 8000 miles 0nly 32.5 mpg combined using Shell V power Diesel. Best feature No turbo lag from engine/auto combo main reason for keeping the car.. IMO the lighting setup is dangerous. Ignition switch on DRL fully lights up & the dash but not rear lights. Switch on rears and DRL dims to insignificance. Due to dash light up, at night one forgets rear lights not lit, also no parking lights.Irrespective of tyre pressures ride uncomfortable except on smooth motorways all models should be available with 15" wheels & higher profile tyres. No permanent engine temp or trip odometer ,have to trawl through hard to understand Menu. Overlarge fuel gauge.Headlights weak requires more powerful bulbs. Jacking system not fit for purpose especially at night, changing punctured wheel can result in damaging sill as virtually impossible to find tiny locating points. Arm rests too hard and drivers mat bad fit around accelerator. Flex Steer is pointless & lifeless. At inflated price over base model Ceed 2 should have Auto dip rear view mirror & tyre pressure monitor. car must have Driver knee bag protection. Removing plastic boot tray increases load capacity. Why are residuals poor despite 7 year warranty.
