2012 1.6 T-GDI Turbo SE

Best car i have ever owned.

I first saw a Veloster in a showroom when they first came to the UK, & was very impressed with it's looks, styling, interior & equipment. When i wanted to replace my Mercedes CLC two & a half years ago, I started looking at Velosters, and found a Turbo SE model available, i wasnt aware there was a Turbo version, but it was clear they were very rare, and holding their price very well. It transpires that Hyundai only sold 2000 Velosters in the UK before they pulled it from the UK market, and only 60 of those were Turbo models. One of the owner forums stated earlier this year only 47 were still in the country.
The car looks amazing, i get stopped regularly by car enthusiasts wanting to know all about it.
It is very well equipped with full black heated leather, cruise, rear camera, touch screen led screen, keyless entry & push button start, i could go on but the list is endless. The rear passenger door on the kerbside is a brilliant idea, & doesn't detract from the fabulous coupe looks. I get an average of 40mpg, upto 50mpg on motorways.
Performance is good, but not mindblowing.
I have had german cars for the last 20 years or so, Audi/BMW/Mercedes, none had the build quality of the Veloster, its the only car i have ever bought second hand & not had to spend a fortune on to get it 100%.
A genuine future classic, get one while you can.
