Overall reliability

overall a good car

I bought this car for my wife a couple of years ago for as a replacement for a focus 2.0 TDCI which she had before which although nice to drive was the most unreliable car we have ever owned ( ford was not interested in any help and the dealer was lost when sorting electronics ) and the price depreciation dropped like a stone, So as my daughter had had an I10 and was very pleased with it plus it had a 5 year warranty I went and drove the I30 1.6 petrol with 6 speed gearbox ,and traded in the focus as I could not sell it ,we have been impressed with the I30,s fuel consumption around 41/42 around the houses and 47/48 on a run loaded up.
This car has had a few issues all sorted under the warranty such as the allow wheels discoloring, the A/C not working a couple of call backs for wiring but the most odd one was a rust blister on the nearside rear door under the rubber seal ,the dealer had not seen this before so ended up having a complete new door overall a pleasant car do drive and comfortable it easy to maintain (myself) and still has 6 months warranty left .
