The car is brilliant apart from the niggles I’ve had and future costs
First off I had the annoying clutch squeak. 4 changes later foc it’s all sorted. This would of been £250 a time.
Then I had a bad engine rattle ( mileage was 18k) engine was stripped to find the issue. After 10 new parts it turns out the auto cam belt tensioner spring had disintegrated. Again fixed foc. This would of been 2.5k +
Car was remapped from 127 - 150bhp and it feels like it should of come like this from the dealers.
Then Honda don’t disclose this which I feel is a major con and disrespect to the customer……. The cam belt change at 7yrs / 65k is £3500! Yes you read that right, the possible value of the car on a belt change. This is very misleading and the major reason I have traded it in for a CRV!
